Intro to Throwing on the Wheel! - Pottery Workshop
This class is an introduction to clay as a medium with special emphasis on proper wheel throwing techniques. We will touch on fundamentals such as wedging, centering, and wall pulling that create a stable and well crafted piece. This class is perfect for those who are beginners who would like to learn more about this craft or for a group activity to do with friends/family.
Maximum capacity of 4 people per class. Attendees have the option to keep up to two pieces to be fired and glazed with color of their choice to be picked up at a later date.
Attendees are to be over the age of 15 and are required to come prepared with short nails, hair tied back, with no jewelry to ensure a successful experience. Your own glazes/tools can be purchased/brought to class should you have a preference but it is not required.
